Hello and Welcome!
There’s much to explore here, and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by. I hope something you see or read sparks inspiration—and if it does, I’d love to hear from you.
My journey began with a heartfelt mission: to support and uplift those facing cancer and other serious health challenges. That purpose led to the creation of The Cancer Courage Card Deck. Since then, my work has become what I now know is called Mindful Art—a gentle, non-judgmental creative practice that offers a peaceful space for reflection, healing, and self-discovery. It’s about staying present and expressing myself freely through art. It’s a journey rooted in curiosity, compassion, and connection—and I absolutely love sharing it with others.
A core passion of mine is exploring the intersection of Art, Medicine, and Healing. I believe the mind is a powerful ally in the healing process and that creativity is essential to that journey. Whether facing a major life moment or simply navigating the everyday ups and downs, having ways to express, release, and understand your emotions truly matters. That’s where art comes in—it brings comfort, clarity, and sometimes even joy.
Art has an extraordinary ability to create hope. It can ease fear, soothe loneliness, and lighten the emotional weight of difficult times. When combined with mindfulness, it becomes a powerful companion on the path to greater well-being, restoring balance, peace, and a renewed sense of possibility.

We All Have Many Looks
Some days we feel serious, other days goofy, sometimes sad, and other times, we’re full of happiness. We all wear different "masks"—changing our appearance daily with clothing, hats, sunglasses, jewelry, and more. But life feels a little different when your hair falls out because of chemotherapy.
During my journey, I never wanted people to look at me and think, "Oh, she's got cancer," or see pity in their eyes. I was never embarrassed about having cancer. I didn’t care who knew. What I did care about was being treated kindly and with respect, but more than that, I wanted to remain *me*. I wanted to be me, the person I was in that moment, with or without cancer. I was never just “a cancer patient” — I was always much more than that.
