Liz (Elizabeth) Carren is an artist who uses her art for healing.
Her cancer diagnosis in 2020 ignited a whole new path for her. Words alone were not what she was looking for to share and explain the cancer experience to her family and friends. She wanted others to see and feel cancer in her artwork. She began creating and writing in a new realm. Creativity and visualizations became the core of the paintings, and she used them to help heal herself. Her work authentically connects with her audience, sharing what makes us vulnerable and human.
My "goal" is to understand and share the junction of Art, Medicine, and Healing.
Liz Carren, an artist, created these card deck(s) so others could see, feel, and understand cancer differently. To empower, guide, validate, and
prompt positive stimulation to your brain - to see your illness in a way that you too can help heal yourself.
The first deck, the cancer process and the journey, is ready to go as a digital version or a beautifully printed set to carry with you. Deck two is in the making - it will be a deck about the year afterward - as a survivor - and is tentatively titled - What's in your Head"
