National Cancer Survivors Day is a secular holiday celebrated on the first weekend in June (primarily in the United States of America.) The day " demonstrates that life after a cancer diagnosis can be a reality." We had a great day! Good weather - clear blue skies until the windy end. There were over 50 vendors and probably about 200 people attending. Everyone was in this cancer fight one way or another - it's a powerful day!

The connection of Art and Healing.
Art has helped me tremendously with my healing process. As a cancer survivor, I truly believe my visualization artwork made a world of difference in my healing and recovery. My mission now is to share that path with Healing Workshops and the Cancer Courage card deck so that others can also help themselves heal using creatively as a tool.

I would love to share my story and work with you. I offer small, personal healing workshops for the release of stress, and as a cancer survivor/thriver, a special workshop for cancer patients, caregivers, and friends, to understand a little more of what cancer actually felt like and looked like to me.
